What is an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are available in most job sectors. For example, business administration, motor vehicle, engineering, childcare and hairdressing. |
How long do Apprenticeships last?
They vary in length. They normally last between 1 – 4 years. |
Who can apply?
You must be 16 or over. There is no upper age limit. |

An employer is investing time, money and training into an apprentice. Typically, they look for:

Entry requirements are set by the employer. They often ask for good grades in Maths and English and may ask for additional GCSEs. |
